Zora Petrović (1894–1962) was a famous Serbian painter.Zora Petrović studied at the Budapest Art Academy. After World War I, she returned to Belgrade, where she completed the Art School. She was a part-time professor at the Belgrade Academy of Fine Arts, a member of various artists’ associations. She was also a corresponding member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.

She painted monumental canvases using broad brush strokes. Although she also painted still-lives and, less frequently, landscapes, Zora Petrović was mostly focused on human figure. Her colouristic expressionism went through three stages differing in the range of her palette. With eyes wide open towards life she painted monumental female figures without embellishing them using vivid colours and strong, broad, vigorous brush strokes, laying stress on artistic experience and expression.
